Die Forschungsfabrik dient der Umsetzung der Vision, kundenindividuelle Aufträge wirtschaftlich bei kurzen Lieferzeiten in Hessen zu produzieren. Sie ist eine Plattform für Forschung, Lehre und Weiterbildung und zeichnet sich durch das Alleinstellungsmerkmal eines kompletten, mittelständisch geprägten Wertstrom von Wareneingang bis -ausgang aus. Dieses Vorhaben legt den Fokus auf die Fachliche Begleitung und Inbetriebnahme mit dem Ziel der Umsetzung einer digital durchgängigen Demonstrations- und Forschungsfabrik für die kundenindividuelle Auftragsabwicklung. Des Weiteren dem Forschungstransfer in die Industrie und Weiterbildung mit dem Ziel ein nachhaltiges Konzept für Forschungs-, Lehr- und Weiterbildungsbetrieb sowie Industriekooperation zu schaffen.
