    CAREL ist ein digitales Werkzeug aus dem Bereich der Geolnformatlk. Es dient dazu, durch automatisierte Potenzialanalysen für Windkraft und Solarenergle den European Green Deal sowie die Klimaschutzziele des Bundes umzusetzen. CAREL liefert erstmals eine Möglichkeit, mit Algorithmen auf Basis der ab 2021 EU-weit vorhandenen Geodäten (INSPIRE) Potenzial- und Standortanalysen zu erstellen, die als Open-Source-Daten für Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Verwaltung online zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
