The municipality of Teningen has been performing its role as a model for the environment and climate for over 20 years. It was one of the first municipalities in Baden-Württemberg to be EMAS-certified and continues the comprehensive catalogue of measures every year. This also includes the initiative to build a heating network for Teningen-Oberdorf. The municipal company Nahwärme-Versorgung Teningen GmbH was founded and a refurbishment manager ceased with the aim of implementing climate protection measures exemplary. In the urban-structured Oberdorf, the connection potential for local heat is very high. In addition, there are waste heat potentials from existing biogas and wood chipping plants and, in the medium term, from industrial production. With a target follow-up rate of about 70 %, over 3,700 tonnes of CO2 per year will be saved in the long term. Die Gemeinde Teningen nimmt ihre Vorbildfunktion für Umwelt und Klima seit über 20 Jahren wahr. Sie wurde als eine der ersten Gemeinden Baden-Württembergs EMAS-zertifiziert und schreibt den umfangreichen Maßnahmenkatalog jährlich fort. In diesen Rahmen fällt auch die Initiative zum Bau eines Wärmenetzes für Teningen-Oberdorf. Die Kommunalgesellschaft Nahwärme-Versorgung Teningen GmbH wurde gegründet, und ein Sanierungsmanager eingestellt mit dem Ziel Klimaschutzmaßnahmen vorbildlich umzusetzen. Im urban-strukturierten Oberdorf ist das Anschlusspotenzial an Nahwärme sehr hoch. Zudem existieren Abwärmepotenziale aus bestehenden Biogas- und Holzhackschnitzelanlagen und mittelfristig aus industrieller Produktion. Bei einer angestrebten Anschlussquote von ca. 70 % werden langfristig über 3.700 t CO2 pro Jahr eingespart. Die GemeindeTeningen bietet ihren Kunden eine preisstabile Wärmeversorgung und erzielt damit überdurchschnittliche Beiträge zur Ökologie. (German)
