In diesem Projekt errichtet die Gemeinde Schönaich ein innovatives Modellgebäude mit dem nachwachsenden Rohstoff Holz als Baustoff. Durch die prominente Lage innerhalb Schönaichs soll die positiven Eigenschaften des Baustoffs Holz sicht- und erfahrbar gemacht werden. Die Nutzung dieses Modellprojekts wird flexibel variiert werden können, wobei zunächst die Unterbringung von Geflüchteten angedacht ist. Sollte hierfür in Zukunft kein Bedarf sein, so soll eine Umnutzung stattfinden. Die Größen der Wohnungen können den Bedarfen angepasst werden und dem sozialgefördertem Wohnungsbau zugeführt werden.
