Predlagan projekt v obliki stičišča ISKRA naslavlja identificiran družbeni potencial za NVO in ga poskuša doseči preko reševanja trenutnih ovir, s katerimi se nevladni sektor v regiji sooča. Najprej tako, da stičišče kot prijavitelj upravlja profesionalna NVO s pozitivnim ugledom v regiji, ki bo skozi projekt skrbela za lasten organizacijski razvoj z namenom zagotavljanja trajne kakovostne podpore NVO sektorju v regiji. Nadalje tako, da notranje krepi ostale NVO na področju organizacijskega, strokovnega razvoja in zagovorništva. Gre za predpogoj profesionalizacije sektorja in prevzemanja javnih storitev. Predlagane aktivnosti temeljijo na izhodiščnih stanjih izbranih NVO, na individualiziranih mentorstvih in odprtih svetovanjih. Pri tem prijavitelj za doseganje profesionalizacije v projekt vpelje svojo sposobnost pridobivanja sredstev iz različnih virov (svetovanje na področju priprave razpisnih vlog) in vpetost v mednarodno NVO okolje (usposabljanja izvedena s strani NVO strokovnjakov iz tujine, svetovanje na področju strokovnih usposabljanj v tujini). Z notranjo krepitvijo, predvsem NVO s potencialom, projekt prispeva tudi k večji vlogi NVO pri oblikovanju lokalnih/regionalnih politik. Osredotoča se na že izražene lokalne/regijske pomanjkljivosti in v skupne delovne skupine povezuje drugače razdrobljene in nepovezane NVO Obalno-kraške regije. Pri tem kot trajnostno rešitev projekt razvije NVO središče za zagovorništvo in aktivno soudeležbo, ki bo v regiji omogočal zagovorništvo, temelječo na aktivnem vključevanju NVO v regiji, ki bo podprto s poglobljenim strokovnim znanjem in zagovorniškimi veščinami. The proposed project in the form of a meeting point ISKRA addresses the identified social potential for NGOs and seeks to achieve it by addressing the current obstacles faced by the non-governmental sector in the region. First of all, the meeting point as an applicant manages professional NGOs with a positive reputation in the region, which will take care of their own organisational development through the project in order to provide sustainable quality support to the sector in the region. Furthermore, it internally strengthens other NGOs in the field of organisational, professional development and advocacy. It is a prerequisite for the professionalisation of the sector and the take-up of public services. The proposed activities are based on the starting positions of selected NGOs, individualised mentorships and open counselling. In order to achieve professionalisation, the applicant introduces into the project its ability to obtain funds from various sources (consultation in the field of preparation of tender applications) and its involvement in the international NGO environment (training carried out by NGOs of experts from abroad, advice in the field of professional training abroad). By strengthening internally, in particular NGOs with potential, the project also contributes to enhancing the role of NGOs in the formulation of local/regional policies. It focuses on the local/regional weaknesses already expressed and links differently fragmented and unrelated NGOs of the Coastal-Karst regions into joint working groups. As a sustainable solution, the project develops an NGO centre for advocacy and active participation, which will enable advocacy in the region based on the active involvement of NGOs in the region, supported by in-depth expertise and advocacy skills.
