(Slovak)

The project Monitoring of chemical status and groundwater quality of the Slovak Republic is prepared in accordance with the Slovak Water Monitoring Framework Programme 2016-2021. It is designed to provide comprehensive information on the state and quality of the groundwater of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter the PzV) in accordance with the legislation in force for the area of water in the Slovak Republic (Act No 364/2004 on waters, Act No 409/2014 amending and supplementing Act No 364/2004 Coll. on waters and evading the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic No 418/2010 on the implementation of certain provisions of the Water Act). The aim of the project for monitoring groundwater quality is to obtain data and information on chemical water formations for the purposes of assessing the chemical status of a body or groups of bodies of groundwater, for assessing the impact of human activities and natural conditions on the quality of PzV, for assessing the quality and usefulness of groundwater, as well as for the purposes of hydrological balance and water management balance. The project will be implemented throughout the Slovak Republic. The analyses will be carried out in accordance with the annual monitoring programmes for water status in the Slovak Republic for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Selection of endpoints and sampling frequency for groundwater quality assessment are designed in accordance with the requirements of the Water Framework Directive – Directive 2000/60/EC, Directive 2006/118/EC, Government Regulation No 496/2010 and Government Regulation No 416/2011. The measurement indicators of the project related to the implementation of the proposed activities for achieving the objectives of the project are: number of samples analysed PzV 6360, number of water bodies evaluated PzV 73, number of water bodies monitored PzV 73. The calculation of the measurement indicators is set out in Annex N°10. (English)
