Obiectivul general al proiectului AdFiOTech (Advanced Fiber Optics Technology) este cresterea capacitatii de cercetare a departamentului de R&D existent in cadrul companiei Prysmian Cabluri si Sisteme, prin investitia in utilaje si echipamente cu un inalt grad de inovare, cu scopul imbunatatirii produselor existente si a crearii de noi produse, din materiale avansate, pentru piata nationala si europeana a cablurilor de fibra optica. Atingerea obiectivului general se va realiza prin modernizarea departamentului de cercetare - dezvoltare existent in cadrul intreprinderii, echipamentele ce urmeaza a fi achizitionate venind in completarea dotarilor curente. La momentul de fata intreprinderea investeste in realizarea unei noi unitati de productie in parcul industrial si tehnologic Slatina. Lucrarile de constructie ale halei industriale sunt in progres, estimarea finalizarii acestora fiind trimestrul I, 2016. Echipamentele de cercetare ce urmeaza a fi achizitionate prin proiect vor fi instalate in noua hala industriala, alaturi de cele existente, astfel incat departamentul R&D va beneficia de un spatiu modern pentru activitatile planificate. The general objective of the AdFiOTech (Advanced Fiber Optics Technology) project is to increase the research capacity of the R & D department existing within Prysmian Cables and Systems, by investing in highly innovative machinery and equipment, in order to improve existing products and create new products, from advanced materials, for the national and European fiber optic cables market. The achievement of the general objective will be achieved by modernising the research and development department existing within the enterprise, the equipment to be purchased complementing the current equipment. At the moment the enterprise invests in the realisation of a new production unit in the Slatina industrial and technological park. The construction works of the industrial hall are in progress, the estimation of their completion being the first quarter of 2016. The research equipment to be purchased through the project will be installed in the new industrial hall, along with the existing ones, so that the R&D department will benefit from a modern space for the planned activities.
