Saare ja Hiiu maakondade kui turismisihtkohtade koostööprojekti eesmärgiks on kohaliku turismisektori rahvusvahelise konkurentsivõime kasvatamine eristumise ja külastaja vajadustele vastavate turismitoodete ja -teenuste väljaarendamise kaudu (ökoturism, turvalisus, klienditeekonna ning piirkonnaspetsiifiliste toodete arendus). Lisaks luuakse Saarte Filmifondi andmebaas ning saarteülese rohepöörde projektijuhi ametikoht kestliku turismi laiemaks arendamiseks. (Estonian)

The objective of the cooperation project between the island and Hiiu counties as tourist destinations is to increase the international competitiveness of the local tourism sector through differentiation and the development of tourism products and services that meet visitors’ needs (eco-tourism, security, customer journey and development of region-specific products). In addition, the Saarte Film Fund database and the post of project manager for the green transition across islands will be created for the wider development of sustainable tourism. (English)
