The aim of the project is to develop a sustainable and universal model of cooperation between schools providing education in the field of inland waterway transport techniques and universities and employers, including: an example curriculum for a given profession (b) an example of the organisation of classes for pupils using the teaching base of vocational and higher education schools, (c) a proposal for measures to familiarise vocational pupils and teachers with new techniques/technology used in the sector, (d) examples of training for vocational education teachers. The starting point for the work will be the initial analysis of teachers’ expectations before joining the project and deepened as the first stage of the project’s work. The model developed on this basis will help to overcome the diagnosed barriers faced by schools and employers. The programme puts particular emphasis on familiarising students and teachers with new techniques/technology and processes/procedures used in the rail transport industry. This means that innovative teaching tools need to be developed. The model developed (with the participation of universities, vocational schools and employers – Project Partners) will be piloted by implementing sample solutions in the school through the creation of a patronage class. On the basis of the pilot, after its evaluation, adjustments and additions will be made. The final versions of the models will be reviewed by university experts and will then be published in the public domain indicated by MEN. The model will be presented at the seminar to schools in order to introduce solutions in their facilities. This will allow for sustainable, systemic cooperation between vocational and tertiary schools and better labour market relevance of education and training systems, facilitating the transition from education to employment, and strengthening vocational education and training systems and their quality. The project will be implemented from 11.2020 to 10.2022. Projekt ma na celu wypracowanie trwałego i uniwersalnego modelu współpracy między szkołami kształcącymi w zawodzie technik żeglugi śródlądowej a uczelniami i pracodawcami, obejmującego: a) przykładowy program nauczania dla danego zawodu b) przykładową organizację zajęć dla uczniów z wykorzystaniem bazy dydaktycznej szkoły zawodowej i wyższej, c) propozycję działań mających na celu zapoznawanie uczniów i nauczycieli kształcenia zawodowego z nowymi technikami/technologiami stosowanymi w branży, d) przykładowe formy doskonalenia nauczycieli kształcenia zawodowego. Punktem wyjścia do prac będzie wstępna analiza oczekiwań nauczycieli dokonana przed przystąpieniem do projektu i pogłębiona będąca I etapem prac w projekcie. Oznacza to konieczność wypracowania innowacyjnych narzędzi dydaktycznych. Wypracowane (przy udziale uczelni, szkół zawodowych i pracodawców - Partnerów Projektu) model zostanie poddany pilotażowi, poprzez wdrożenie przykładowych rozwiązań w szkole poprzez utworzenie klasy patronackiej. Na podstawie pilotażu, po jego ewaluacji, zostaną wprowadzone ew. korekty i uzupełnienia. Ostateczne wersje modeli zrecenzują eksperci uczelni, a następnie zostaną opublikowane w domenie publicznej wskazanej przez MEN.
