The project concerns the creation of a Community Centre in the Municipality of Chalandri which will serve all residents of the municipality, with priority to vulnerable groups and aiming to disseminate information about services and social benefits to all citizens. In addition to disseminating information, the Community Centre will also provide social inclusion services. They are structures that function complementary, and do not replace or replace the Social Services of Municipalities, but broaden the range of social services provided to the citizens-benefits. The Community Centre receives and registers the beneficiaries, with the aim of diagnosing their needs and promoting them in Services, Structures and Programmes that exist during the current period and have as their object their social support, strengthening and integration (indicatively: OEAED, NHS, KDAP, Home Help, Mental Health Centers, etc.). At the same time, the Community Centre receives applications for TEVA, the UEN, humanitarian aid and all projects concerned with the provision of social services. Το έργο αφορά στη δημιουργία Κέντρου Κοινότητας στο Δήμο Χαλανδρίου το οποίο θα εξυπηρετεί όλους τους κατοίκους του δήμου, με προτεραιότητα στις ευπαθείς ομάδες και με στόχο τη διάχυση της πληροφορίας αναφορικά με υπηρεσίες και παροχές κοινωνικού χαρακτήρα προς όλους τους πολίτες. Επίσης, πέρα από τη διάχυση της πληροφορίας, το Κέντρο Κοινότητας θα παρέχει και υπηρεσίες κοινωνικής ένταξης. Είναι δομές που λειτουργούν συμπληρωματικά, και δεν αντικαθιστούν ή υποκαθιστούν, τις Κοινωνικές Υπηρεσίες των Δήμων, αλλά διευρύνουν το φάσμα των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών κοινωνικού χαρακτήρα προς τους δημότες-ωφελούμενους. Στο Κέντρο Κοινότητας γίνεται υποδοχή και καταγραφή των ωφελουμένων, με στόχο τη διάγνωση των αναγκών τους και την προώθηση τους σε Υπηρεσίες, Δομές και Προγράμματα που υφίστανται την τρέχουσα περίοδο και έχουν ως αντικείμενο την κοινωνική υποστήριξη, ενδυνάμωση και ένταξή τους (ενδεικτικά: ΟΑΕΕΔ, ΕΣΥ, ΚΔΑΠ, Βοήθεια στο Σπίτι, Κέντρα Ψυχικής Υγείας κλπ). Συγχρόνως στο Κέντρο Κοινότητας γίνεται υποδοχή των αιτήσεων για το ΤΕΒΑ, το ΕΕΕ, την ανθρωπιστική βοήθεια και για όλα τα προγράμματα που έχουν αντικείμενο την παροχή κοινωνικών υπηρεσιών. Το Κέντρο Κοινότητας θα περιλαμβάνει και Παράρτημα Ρομα για την εξυπηρέτηση του πληθυσμού της κοινωνικής αυτής ομάδας που διαμένει στο Χαλάνδρι. (Greek)
