The aim of the project is to protect biodiversity in the municipality of Brezkowice in the valley of the Gironde estuary, which is an important ecological corridor in the region. The project includes the protection of the most valuable species and natural habitats in order to restore them to the correct condition while increasing the efficiency of the use of the natural and cultural resources of the Sub-region. The objective of the project will be achieved once the planned environmental actions have been implemented in order to improve and restore the state of natural habitats and the population of species, in particular by combating invasive alien species, nature conservation by reducing the pressure of tourism by means of infrastructure for public use, including the educational path and the establishment and retrofitting of an organic education centre. The project is socially acceptable and responds to a number of requests from the inhabitants and tourists of the region. (English) | |||

Celem projektu jest ochrona różnorodności biologicznej na terenie Gminy Buczkowice w dolinie potoku Żylica, który stanowi ważny korytarz ekologiczny w regionie. Projekt obejmuje ochronę najcenniejszych gatunków i siedlisk przyrodniczych w celu przywrócenia ich do właściwego stanu przy jednoczesnym zwiększeniu efektywności wykorzystania zasobów naturalnych i kulturowych Subregionu Południowego. Cel projektu zostanie osiągnięty po zrealizowaniu zaplanowanych działań środowiskowych w zakresie poprawy i odtwarzania stanu siedlisk przyrodniczych i populacji gatunków, szczególnie poprzez zwalczanie obcych gatunków inwazyjnych, ochronę przyrody przez zmniejszenie presji ruchu turystycznego za pomocą budowy infrastruktury użytku publicznego, w tym ścieżki dydaktycznej oraz utworzenie i doposażenie ośrodka prowadzącego działalność w zakresie edukacji ekologicznej. Projekt jest społecznie akceptowalny i jest odpowiedzią na liczne wnioski mieszkańców i turystów regionu. (Polish)
