The project will consist of creating the infrastructure necessary to set up a research laboratory in the company SFG GLASS Tomasz Zub with its registered office in Olkusz 01.01.20203.12.2021. So far, the company did not have the appropriate equipment to conduct research directly at the company’s premises to develop new products in the field of flat glass processing. The implementation of the project is a response to the needs of the company. The establishment of the laboratory will enable work to be started on the development of an innovative on a national scale cooling device for grinding discs intended for use in various sectors of the glass industry. In order to develop a device with assumed features and functionalities, it is necessary to carry out research development which will result in the transfer of the company’s solutions to other grinding machines outside the automotive industry used in other areas of glass processing, such as flat glass processing plants for the architecture and furniture industry of equipment and spare parts to dozens of flat glass companies in Poland and throughout Europe. Implementation of the project will result in the possibility to work independently on new product and process solutions in the field of flat glass processing. The implementation of the project will result in the recruitment of 3 employees for research positions and will create more opportunities for cooperation between SFG GLASS Tomasz Zub and scientific units in the scope of internships in the Applicant’s company by technical students. Projekt będzie polegał na stworzeniu infrastruktury niezbędnej do utworzenia laboratorium badawczego w przedsiębiorstwie SFG GLASS Tomasz Zub mającym swoją siedzibę w Olkuszu 01.01.20203.12.2021. Dotychczas firma nie posiadała odpowiedniego wyposażenia pozwalającego na prowadzenie bezpośrednio w siedzibie firmy prac badawczo rozwojowych nad opracowywaniem nowych produktów z zakresu obróbki szkła płaskiego. Realizacja projektu jest odpowiedzią na potrzeby przedsiębiorstwa. Powstanie laboratorium umożliwi rozpoczęcie prac nad opracowaniem innowacyjnego na skalę kraju urządzenia do chłodzenia tarcz szlifierskich przeznaczonego do stosowania w różnych branżach przemysłu szklarskiego. W celu opracowania urządzenia o założonych cechach i funkcjonalnościach niezbędne jest przeprowadzenie prac badawczo rozwojowych, których efektem będzie przeniesienie dostępnego w firmie rozwiązania na inne maszyny szlifierskie poza branżą motoryzacyjną wykorzystywane w innych obszarach obróbki szkła, takich jak zakłady zajmujące się obróbką szkła płaskiego do architektury i przemysłu meblowego urządzeń i części zamiennych dziesiątkom firm zajmujących się obróbką szkła płaskiego na terenie kraju jak i w całej Europie. Realizacja projektu spowoduje możliwość samodzielnej pracy nad nowymi rozwiązaniami produktowymi i procesowymi w obszarze obróbki szkła płaskiego. Realizacja projektu spowoduje zatrudnienie 3 pracowników na stanowiska badawcze oraz stworzy większe możliwości współpracy pomiędzy przedsiębiorstwem SFG GLASS Tomasz Zub, a jednostkami naukowymi w zakresie odbywania staży w firmie Wnioskodawcy przez studentów studiów technicznych.
