THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO DEVELOP A SENSE OF BELONGING AND EUROPEAN IDENTITY AND CIVIL AND RESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR. THE MAIN FUNCTION OF THE SCHOOL IS TO PROMOTE THE RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF CITIZENS, DEMOCRATIC VALUES AND HUMAN RIGHTS. IT IS A FUNDAMENTAL ISSUE THAT IN EUROPEAN SOCIETY THAT HAS BECOME MULTIETHNIC AND MULTICULTURAL, ESPECIALLY AS A RESULT OF THE RECENT MIGRATION FLOWS THAT YOUNG PEOPLE INTERIORISE THE IMPORTANCE OF SOLIDARITY OF TOLERANCE AND PARTICIPATION IN A DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY.
