The year 2020 represents a major milestone for EUSDR PA3 coordination strategy for at least 2 reasons: the adoption of the revised EUSDR Action Plan and the Covid-19 pandemic which generated major challenges in the fields addressed by this PA. The main result of the project is a stable and effective governance system for PA3 in terms of defining an agile process flow, setting clear objectives and types of activities to deliver concrete outcomes. An effective governance approach of PA3 should enable a collaborative environment of stakeholders to increase the competitiveness of Culture and Tourism activities in the Danube Region through: -enhanced coordination between the PA3 actors; -the facilitation of projects initiatives; -targeted support for the development of policies. This Project will support the implementation of EUSDR revised Action Plan and will thereby enhance cooperation between key players involved in activities related to PA3, as well as the transnational institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders in the Danube Region; To support the implementation of the objectives of the proposed Project, the core activities include: M - (management, publicity and communication) aiming to ensure high visibility of Project outcomes as well as efficient project management; T1 - (policy development) monitoring relevant initiatives and reporting back on selected policy initiatives related to Culture, Tourism and People to People Contacts in the Danube Region and provide technical support for the implementation of the Action Plan. T2 - (cooperation and coordination) involvement of targeted stakeholders in the fields of Culture and Tourism within the Danube Region, as well as stimulating cross-thematic co-operation with other PAs, MRS and EU institutions in monitoring and supporting actions that are targeting the improvement and implementation of policies in the field of Culture, Tourism and People to People Contacts.
