Through the project, Partners would like to solve the problems that occur in both Partners’ territories and are similar: insufficient use of local resources and weak promotion of Bug river region’s culinary heritage for tourism development, lack of cross-border cooperation in terms of common culture, history and traditions, low potential of local community to gather in NGOs which aim to preserve Bug region culinary culture. The aim of the project is to protect and preserve culinary heritage of river Bug regions, to develop tourism sustainably using cultural potential of the region. The implementation of planned activities will solve mutual cross-border challenges, reduce the differences in standards of living, increase social and economic development and enhance the local communities potential. Partners will try to solve the mutual problems by using shared resources, which might significantly improve current situation in the region. The main products of the projects will be: workshops, study trips, conferences, festivals, cookbook, promotional campaign (project tabs on Partners’ websites, promotion in the social media, local press and radio, kitchen aprons, roll-up banners). The products will be used by participants of the project activities, NGOs, tourists, residents, local authorities, Partners and society as a whole. In the project implementation, cooperation of both partners is essential, as the project concerns support of cross-border development process of the river Bug region. The project will enable to solve problems similar for both partners. The project aims to promote and preserve common local culture and history, based on river Bug region culinary heritage. The project implementation will result in sustainable tourism development in cross-border area, increase international tourist movement. It is a not-for-profit project. (English)
