The main focus of the project is the better accessibility to the common natural and cultural heritage of Šumava and the Mühlviertel, by modernizing the access to the border between Zadní Zvonková - Schöneben. These are nearby destinations, such as the Schlägl Abbey, the Bohemian and Austrian parts of Šumava, the Lipno Lake, the source of the Vltava River, the castles Vítkův Hrádek and Sternstein, the municipality of Aigen, but also other cultural and natural monuments, such as the protected towns Krumau, Linz and Hochficht.
