Our association operates 3 cultural houses with a public education contract, of which the Berze Nagy János Cultural House is located in the Vasas district, where the cultural and entertainment activities of the local, nearly 2,500 inhabitants are located. The cultural house currently has 3 rooms, 1 office (local reception clock), 1 small club room (1 activity space) and 1 community space of 70 m² (7 activities, which are held weekly or two weeks in the afternoon mainly on weekdays). The building was built in the 1950s and operated as a fire service, which was rebuilt in the 1960s. Interior decorations took place before the millennium, such as the installation of convectors, the slabing of the large community space, the design of a washbasin, the creation of a built-in cabinet. The building has wooden openings, uninsulated brick walls and slabs, no hot water and small rooms are mostly unused as warehouses. The large room operates at 80 % occupancy on weekdays, while the small rooms are not well utilised due to their size, so their occupancy is around 10 %. Our EFOP-1.3.5-16 project currently being implemented has activities here and would require the transfer of further activities to the House of Culture, but as it stands, only Kossuth Work, operating in Somogy (1.5 km) is in operation. We have free capacity for implementation in the house. In addition, the EFOP-3.3.2-16 is under evaluation, out of which 5 weeks of activity can be the site of the refurbished Berze Culture House, while in our upcoming EFOP-3.7,3-16 project we would also plan 5 activities here. In addition to the activities described above, we would like to plan 5 additional activities in this project. For the operation of the community house, we have a lease with the municipality, our public education contract and we receive operating funds (1.5 million) to finance them, covering overheads, basic maintenance tasks and cleaning costs. According to our survey, there is a demand for the expansion of cultural and lifelong learning programmes, for which the transformation and development of the cultural house is essential. It can be seen from the above that due to the size of the small room, it is unused. The realisation of the improvements results in maximising utilisation. Among the under-utilisation factors, the lack of programmes is not the reason, since a large number of activities (in other places) could be relocated by creating a new community space (30.8 m²). The modernisation of the large room (71.4 m²) does not tolerate any delay, since the organisation of programmes is vulnerable to weather conditions due to outdated windows and unmoderated heating. In winter, the operation is difficult to heat and uneconomical, so the quality and quantity of club activities are subdued. In order to finance the operation and programmes of the cultural house, modernising the current heating is essential; as it costs HUF 400,000 per year in addition to the current utilisation, and with the launch of new programmes planned in the future, this cost can reach HUF 600,000. In any case, our current project and those awaiting submission do not contain any substantial elements to finance overhead charges, and our programmes are all free of charge, so the increased costs should be financed through just enough municipal support. By the way, our current project and those awaiting submission do not contain any substantial elements to finance overhead charges and our programmes are all free of charge, so the increased costs should be financed through just enough municipal support. As a development of the project, a new heating system would be introduced into the two public spaces, which would be solved by the installation of a condensing boiler (instead of the current convectors) and the installation of the associated radiators. In addition, new ones would be installed in the club rooms instead of the old windows, so we can reduce the overhead costs, which will allow for further improvements in the future, in addition to improving comfort by eliminating outdated, dangerous convectors and heating the toilets. The Combined boiler allows hot water in service spaces. The construction of the new space would be achieved by opening two small rooms together, so the resulting room would be equipped with a new enclosure and the tools of clubs placed in the room in previously “covered” cabinets would be provided with a lockable built-in cabinet system, thereby improving the occupancy of the space. All the necessary tools and furniture could be packed (folding tables, stackable chairs, laptops), making the space multi-functional. In conclusion: The development of the learning, training and professional, group and clubrooms undertaken in the project 2pcs. On the basis of the planned occupancy indicators in the constructed premises, the indicator reaches 653 persons per year. (English)

Egyesületünk közművelődési szerződéssel, 3 művelődési házat üzemeltet, melyek közül a Vasasi városrészben található Berze Nagy János kultúrház szolgál a helyi, közel 2500 lakosának a kulturális és szórakoztató tevékenységének a színhelyéül. A kultúrház jelenleg 3 helységgel rendelkezik, 1 iroda (önk. fogadóóra helye), 1 kis klubhelyiség (1 tevékenységnek ad teret) és 1 db 70m2 területű közösségi tér (7 tevékenységnek ad otthont, melyek heti-kétheti rendszerességgel kerülnek megtartásra főleg hétköznap délután). A fent leírt tevékenységeken kívül szeretnénk további 5 tevékenységet tervezni ezen projektben. A fejlesztések megvalósulásának eredménye a kihasználtság maximalizálása. (Hungarian)
