In order to ensure adequate provision of health care for persons with disabilities, a project is being implemented that will provide the necessary infrastructure to ensure more convenient access for persons with disabilities to the public institution Biržai hospital. During the implementation of the project, it is planned to adapt the infrastructure of the project promoter for a more comfortable movement of persons with disabilities: install a ramp and automatically sliding entrance doors, accessible entrance stairs, pavements and parking areas. The benefits of the project will be felt by residents of Biržai city and district with various disabilities. The project will ensure more convenient physical access to healthcare for persons with disabilities, thus contributing to the reduction of social exclusion of persons with disabilities. Siekiant užtikrinti tinkamą sveikatos priežiūros paslaugų teikimą neįgaliesiems, įgyvendinamas projektas, kurio metu bus sukurta reikiama infrastruktūra, užtikrinanti patogesnį neįgaliųjų patekimą į viešąją įstaigą Biržų ligoninę. Projekto įgyvendinimo metu numatoma pritaikyti projekto vykdytojo infrastruktūrą patogesniam neįgaliųjų judėjimui: įrengti pandusą ir automatiškai slankiojančias įėjimų duris, neįgaliesiems pritaikyti įėjimų laiptų aikšteles, šaligatvius bei stovėjimo aikšteles. Projekto naudą pajus Biržų miesto ir rajono gyventojai, turintys įvairią negalią. Įgyvendinus projektą bus užtikrintas patogesnis fizinis sveikatos priežiūros paslaugų prieinamumas neįgaliesiems, taip prisidedant prie socialinės neįgaliųjų atskirties mažinimo. (Lithuanian)
