    TWO RESOURCE CENTERS - ÖREBRO AND UPPSALA The projects will help people far from the labor market to find work, education or get closer to the labor market. The target group in many cases has complex problems, with unemployment in combination with, for example: ill helth, social reasons, language impairment or disability, causing impaired work ability. Our goal is to create creative and integrated workplaces in two sub-projects, where employees - the project participants- increase their ability to gain employment, create new jobs, develop knowledgeand learning to achieve their own livehoods, based on their own conditions, in partnership with others. Project owners are ABF Örebro län. In each subproject, ABF has primary responsibility and cooperates with Coompanion as well as different associations, authorities and companies based on local conditions. Joint partners are Arbetsförmedlingen and the respective municipalities. Resource Center shall provide capacity building that promotes the path to self-service within private, voluntary or public sector. In the respective sub-project, a cooperative initiative interating social enterprise for work, education and self-employment is established. By using the methodologies of adult learning and cooperative oragnization system, these companies will, after completion of the project, continue to live in their respective communities and expand their target group to all those in need of supportive efforts given in the new environment created in the project. Resource Center offers: - Individual development plans based on deep interviews and resource mapping to achieve increased empowerment. - Network, community and role models/mentors in support of individual personal and professional development. - Self-counseling, indivdually tailored for project participants who have a busniess idea. - Study and career orientation and support for job search. - Preparations for employment in the cooperative company that, with the participants co-creation, develops existing business and new business opportunities. - Preparation for self-employment. The cooperative company can be the employer of individuals (self-employed) who themselves develop ther careers by takeing in in various assignments. The co-operative then bills the self-employed commissioner and pays salaries to the self-employed. The forms for this will develop during the project period. Method development in order to achieve th projects goals and ambitions takes place in the cooperation between th committed participans, where the overall competence is extensive and well verified. Participants will develop skills in swedish, industry knowledge, co-operation, community orientation and leadership development as well as entreprneurship. They will be given the opportunity to circle leaders, start associations, start their own and/or social companies, and build network in civil society and business. For three years, 50-60 people per year will be offered a space in each sub-project. In addition, participants freely and voluntarily and also lead other educational activities; study circles, cultural events, workshops etc. Gender equality is assumed in all parts of the project and is designed in accordance with ESF requirements specifications. This, as well ass accessbility and non-discrimination, are intergrated into the regular activities of project owners and partners. ÖREBRO - SOMALI RESOURCE CENTER Our focus is aimed specifically at unemployed Somali people, based on their own identity, culture, abilities and knowledge within their own group. The projects main actor an promotor is Afrikas Horn Kulturcenter and implementation takes place in the district of Vivalla, with good conditions for enhanced cooperation with local associations and companies. In conjunction with association's other activities, the project organized as a "Future wokshop" for new initiatives and learning. Specific keywords/characteristics: Mobility in the target group, dual language skills, future workshop. UPPSALA - TRAPPAN RESOURCE CENTER ABF, together with the tenants association, Hyresgästföreningen, the unions Metall, Kommunal and other local associations, will build meeting places and social enterprises in the neighborhoods Stenhagen and Gränby for people living there, to promote empowerment and self-organization. The Resource Center will become a laboratory where people can begin their journey of education, a road to work, further studies; a movement of empowerment, participation and future confidence. Our intention is to create conditions for primarily women who are particularly far from labor market with the goal of becoming self-sufficient in the long run´.
