Servanda, Foundation for Welfare Hardinxveld-Giessendam
Property / summary

Servanda Foundation with 13 employees is the broad well-being organisation for all residents of Hardinxveld-Giessendam, young and old. We translate our motto “activate — find — connect” into social services. Meeting and connecting people is central to us. We advise and support residents, offer activities to children, young people and adults, connect and strengthen social structures. Our offer is created by the enthusiastic commitment of many volunteers, professionals, employees and partners. Our services are divided into six programs: Adult work, Children’s work, Neighbourhood, Information and advice, Support and mediation and youth and youth work. Since January 2015, many tasks in the areas of WMO, Youth Aid and Participation have been transferred to municipalities. The redesign of the new social domain requires a different way of working our well-being organisation and therefore a lot of the flexibility and learning capacity of our employees. It is very important for us that employees work towards greater vitality and flexibility in order to be able to anticipate and deal with change in a good way. Of course, we have initiated a number of initiatives, pilots and activities to work on this. It is now important to create coherence for employees, so that they can work optimally on their sustainable employability through one effective and appealing programme. (English)

(Dutch)
