The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has had and continues to have a major impact on the business community in Blekinge. Shutdown economies, changes in consumption patterns, reduced demand and the transformation of activities are among the reasons. Experience from previous crises shows that they hit Blekinge’s business and employment hard. The project aims to ensure that small and medium-sized enterprises in Blekinge have achieved sustainable growth, strengthened their competitiveness, their capacity for transition, thereby strengthening their exit from the pandemic. The project objective is for 80 SMEs in Blekinge to have applied for and received business development vouchers, thereby increasing their ability to adapt. The project aims to launch business development cheques in the following areas: — Digital conversion. The support will be used to start, implement or accelerate the pace of digital transformation and the development of business models. —Green conversion. The support will be used for digital development, new business opportunities, developed business models and innovations -Internationalisation. The support will be used to strengthen value chains and ecosystems. The project enables sustainable growth through strengthened transition capacity, increased competitiveness and productivity of small and medium-sized enterprises in Blekinge. The COVID-19 pandemic has created insights into the need to reshape activities, business models and processes, but the need for innovation already existed before the crisis. The project also enables the implementation of the Regional Development Strategy (RUS) as well as the underlying regional innovation strategy. The impact of the project is assessed primarily on the priority area Working life in the RUS. The impact of the project will primarily contribute to the objectives of expansionary and competitive business, as well as the goal of the innovation climate and to the objectives linked to indicators that measure job growth, innovation capacity and productivity and competitiveness. Effekterna av coronapandemin har haft och har fortlöpande en stor påverkan på näringslivet i Blekinge. Nedstängda ekonomier, ändrade konsumtionsmönster, minskad efterfrågan och verksamheters omställning är några av orsakerna. Erfarenheten från tidigare kriser visar att de slår hårt mot Blekinges näringsliv och sysselsättning. Projektet syftar till att små och medelstora företag i Blekinge ska ha uppnått en hållbar tillväxt, stärkt sin konkurrenskraft, sin omställningsförmåga och därigenom kommit stärkta ut ur pandemin. Projektmålet är att 80 små och medelstora företag i Blekinge ska ha sökt och erhållit affärsutveckligscheckar och därigenom ökat sin omställningsförmåga. Inom ramen för projektet avser man att utlysa affärsutveckligscheckar inom är följande områden: -Digital omställning. Stödet ska användas till att påbörja, genomföra eller öka takten i en digital transformation och i arbetet med att utveckla affärsmodeller. -Grön omställning. Stödet ska användas för digital utveckling, nya affärsmöjligheter, utvecklade affärsmodeller och innovationer -Internationalisering. Stödet ska användas till att stärka värdekedjor och ekosystem. Projektet möjliggör en hållbar tillväxt genom stärkt omställningsförmåga, ökad konkurrenskraft och produktivitet hos små och medelstora företag i Blekinge. Coronapandemin har skapat insikter om behovet av att ställa om verksamheter, affärsmodeller och processer, men behovet av förnyelse fanns redan före krisen. Projektet möjliggör också till genomförandet av den regionala utvecklingsstrategin (RUS) samt den underliggande regionala innovationsstrategin. Projektets effekter bedöms främst påverka insatsområde Arbetsliv i RUS:en. Projektets effekter kommer främst bidra till målen om expansivt och konkurrenskraftigt näringsliv samt målet om innovationsklimat och till målen kopplade indikatorer som mäter jobbtillväxt, förnyelseförmåga samt produktivitet och konkurrenskraft.
