The idea of the project is to expand even more its activities in the field of traditions and folklore, which has been an accent in its work. Folklore dance and singing group has been created long ago by our villager Nikola Ganchev. Now we are reviving this activity and we have again active female folklore singer group and dance mixed group at the Community center. With the money from the project we want to buy folk costumes, the beauty of the Thracian costume with elements of the local authentic costume and quality sounding will be an incentive for more young people to enthusiasm and join the unique Bulgarian traditions and folklore. We will emphasise the local song art, bequeathed by the ancestors. who have sang in the past our mothers and grandmothers, we will recall rituals from it. We will attract new audiences and new people looking for a scene for self-expression of their gifts and talents. We will provide better conditions for the development of the community center activities. We will increase in quality and quantity the events with such patriotic orientation and leave the generations after us a revived and further developed local identity. After each more significant event for the village, we will be able to present as a gift to our guests a book with its history and present with the title, Shishmantsi in the past and today". It will become the business card of our village, along with the videos that we will record. A good and patriotic work is that the available materials for its history should be arranged, collected and processed in a book that will pass them on to the generations after us. All we do in the direction of preserving the local identity is also important because we have an impressive minority Roma community, which is more alien to this idea, and more diligent work is needed in order to be associated with it. Идеята на проекта е Читалището да разшири още повече дейността си в областта на традициите и фолклора,която и досега е била акцент в работата му.Фолклорна танцова и певческа група е имало създадени отдавна от нашия съселянин ,кавалджията Никола Ганчев.Сега възраждаме тази дейност и отново имаме действащи женска фолклорна певческа група и танцов смесен състав към Читалището.С парите от проекта искаме да закупим народни носии,липсата на които много пречи на работата ни сега.Много необходимо ни е и собствено озвучаване.Красотата на тракийската носия с елементи от местния автентичен костюм и качественото озвучаване ще са стимул повече млади хора да се ентусиазират и приобщят към уникалните български традиции и фолклор.Ще наблегнем на местното песенно изкуство,завещано ни от предците.Ще зазвучат на сцената песни,които са пели в миналото нашите майки и баби,ще припомним ритуали от него.Ще привлечем нова публика и нови хора,търсещи сцена за самоизява на своите дарби и таланти.Ще осигурим по-добри условия за развитие на читалищните дейности.Ще увеличим като качество и количество мероприятията с такава родолюбива насоченост и ще оставим на поколенията след нас една възродена и доразвита от нас местна идентичност.След всяко по-значимо за селото събитие пък ще можем да поднесем като подарък и за спомен от селото на гостите ни по една книга с неговата история и настояще със заглавието ,,Шишманци в миналото и днес’’.Тя ще се превърне във визитната картичка на селото ни,заедно със видео клиповете,които ще запишем.Добро и родолюбиво дело е наличните материали за историята му да бъдат подредени ,събрани и обработени в една такава книга,която ще ги предаде на поколенията след нас.Всичко,което правим в посока опазване на местната идентичност е важно и защото при нас има внушителна малцинствена ромска общност,на която е по-чужда тази идея И е нужна по-усърдна работа,за да бъдат приобщени към нея..
