Le CIAS, par ce chantier d'insertion, met en situation d'emploi 10 personnes éligibles à l'IAE, en entrées et sorties permanentes. Sur ces 10 participants, 6 seront beneficiaires du RSA (référence socioprofessionnelle) et 4 relèveront du public Mission Locale ou Pôle Emploi. Le chantier d'insertion a obtenu le label Agriculture Biologique en 2011. Les participants cultivent des légumes qui seront mis à disposition d'associations caritatives. l’équipe des jardiniers pratique les techniques de l’agriculture biologique sur 2 parcelles de 2200 m2 et 2500 m2. Ils utilisent des traitements naturels. Ils pratiquent la rotation des cultures et des associations de plants qui se protègent mutuellement des nuisibles. Une serre sera aménagée en 2015 pour permettre la fabrication des semis sur place, une culture annuelle par la suite, et de constituer un abri pour la pluie et l’hiver. (French)

They rotate crops and plant associations that protect each other from pests.
