It’s empty today. As part of the reorganisation of its services and in response to the increase in medical and social activity, the Department has decided to set up a medical and social centre (PMS) and an office space in this central wing. This building will therefore accommodate, after work, only departmental departments and users of these public services. The operation is therefore to redesign the building to accommodate these new activities but also to rehabilitate it energetically in view of its outdated thermal performance and its ageing facades.     Le bâtiment, propriété du Département de Haute-Savoie, a été construit en 1959 pour accueillir l’école normale. Son aile centrale, d’une surface plancher d’environ 1200m², n’a pas fait l’objet de grosses rénovations depuis son origine. Jusqu’en 2015, les locaux étaient occupés, en partie, par l’institut de formation aux soins infirmiers d’Annecy. Elle est aujourd’hui vide. Dans le cadre de la réorganisation de ses services et pour répondre à l’accroissement de l’activité médico-sociale, le Département a décidé d’installer un pôle médico-social (PMS) et un espace de bureaux dans cette aile centrale. Ce bâtiment accueillera donc, après travaux, uniquement des services départementaux ainsi que les usagers de ces services publics. L’opération consiste donc à réaménager le bâtiment pour accueillir ces nouvelles activités mais également à le réhabiliter énergétiquement compte-tenu de ses performances thermiques dépassées et de ses façades vieillissantes.
