Beim BIJ handelt es sich um Maßnahmen für Jugendliche, die aufgrund ihrer (noch) nicht vorhandenen Ausbildungsfähigkeit und auch wegen ihrer Sprachdefizite keinen Ausbildungsplatz finden konnten. Durch die Vermittlung berufsfeldbezogener Kenntnisse soll die Ausbildungsreife dieser Jugendlichen verbessert werden. (German)
