Within the ESF federal programme “Education, Economy, Work in the Quartier — BIWAQ”, the city of Mannheim participates in the integration project for immigrants from the EU2 accession countries Bulgaria and Romania in the district of Jungbusch and adjoining complementary areas of Western Lower Town and Neckarstadt. The implementation is carried out with the project partners Jobcenter Mannheim and the employment promotion company Biotopia. The aim is to integrate the target group into the labour market. The content implementation consists of 4 building blocks: 1. Individual advice and information on general topics, 2. Language training taking into account the individual learning requirements, (3) determining the location of the labour market and providing job vacancies, as well as work placements for integration into work, 4. participation in practical assignments within the district service and with local actors who benefit from the upgrading of the district. Innerhalb des ESF-Bundesprogramms „Bildung, Wirtschaft, Arbeit im Quartier – BIWAQ“ beteiligt sich die Stadt Mannheim mit dem Integrationsprojekt für Zuwandererinnen und Zuwanderer aus den EU2-Beitrittsstaaten Bulgarien und Rumänien im Stadtteil Jungbusch und angrenzenden Ergänzungsgebieten Westliche Unterstadt und Neckarstadt. Die Umsetzung erfolgt mit den Projektpartnern Jobcenter Mannheim und dem Arbeitsförderungsbetrieb Biotopia. Ziel ist die Integration der Zielgruppe in den Arbeitsmarkt. Die inhaltliche Umsetzung setzt sich aus 4 Bausteinen zusammen: 1. Individuelle Beratung und Aufklärung zu allgemeinen Themen, 2. Sprachtraining unter Berücksichtigung der individuellen Lernvoraussetzungen, 3. arbeitsmarktbezogene Standortbestimmung und Vermittlung von Stellenangeboten sowie Betriebspraktika zur Eingliederung in Arbeit, 4. Teilnahme an praktischen Einsätzen innerhalb des Stadtteilservices und mit Akteuren vor Ort, die der Aufwertung des Quartiers zugutekommen. (German)
