The course is designed to develop general vocational language competences as well as work-relevant basics. Improving the linguistic ability to cope with everyday work (vocabulary, structures and means of speech in a professional context), insight into different occupational fields and sectors with the aim of facilitating professional orientation, information on fundamental rights and duties at the workplace, job-search opportunities (including application and presentation) and information on employment agencies and job centres. There are a maximum of 20 participants in the action. By promoting German as a second language, vocational training is intended to facilitate the integration of participants into the first labour market or qualification measures and thus provide them independently of social benefits. In close connection with and accompanied by the vocational-related German lessons, company visits, specialist lessons and an optional internship are also held. In technical instruction, knowledge of professional orientation is taught. This is a part-time course of 25 UE/week in the morning for participants with refugees and persons entitled to stay, as well as participants with a valid residence permit based on a language level A2. The specific topics and needs of the groups of people are widely taken into account by the course staff and the same opportunities for access and participation are ensured by all participants in the above-mentioned sense.
