    The overall objective of the OPTOCHIP joint project is the development of an optoelectronic microfluidic system for the detection of fluorescence-labelled nucleic acids. The subject of the subproject of Kiel University is the development of a miniaturised optical measurement technology for DNA detection by fluorescence excitation and detection by means of organic light-emitting diodes and organic photodiodes.
