Bei dem Projekt geht es im Wesentlichen um die Fortführung und Weiterentwicklung des Regionalmanagements „Regionale Kooperation Westküste/Unterelbe“ zur Betreuung der Regionalen Kooperation A23/B5, zur Umsetzung des Arbeitsprogramms der Kooperation (Regionalen Entwicklungskonzept A23/B5 (REK)) und deren Projekte sowie zur Betreuung des Beirates der Westküsteninitiative der Landesregierung. Zudem soll die Schnittstellenfunktion des Regionalmanagements zwischen der Region, dem Land und anderen überregionalen Kooperation weiter ausgebaut werden. Das Projektgebiet umfasst die Kreise Nordfriesland, Dithmarschen, Steinburg und Pinneberg. (German)

The project focuses mainly on the continuation and further development of the regional management “Regional Cooperation West Coast/Unterelbe” to support the regional cooperation A23/B5, to implement the work programme of the cooperation (Regional Development Concept A23/B5 (REK)) and its projects, as well as to support the Advisory Council of the West Coast Initiative of the state government. In addition, the interface function of regional management between the region, the country and other supra-regional cooperation will be further developed.
