    Ziel des Vorhabens sind Entwicklung, Bau und Testbetrieb eines Wellenkraftwerks im Modellmaßstab. Die Testanlage dient als neue Energieforschungsinfrastruktur mit „Reallabor“-Charakter. Als Antriebskonzept wird ein Linear-Generator im Schwimmkörper verwendet, womit direkt die kinetische Energie infolge der Wellenbewegung in elektrische Energie umgewandelt werden kann. (German)

    The aim of the project is the development, construction and test operation of a wave power plant on a model scale. The test facility serves as a new energy research infrastructure with a “real laboratory” character. As a drive concept, a linear generator is used in the floating body, which directly converts the kinetic energy into electrical energy as a result of the wave movement. (English)
