Die SRS Meeder GmbH hat im Jahr 2000 den Geschäftsbetrieb in Poppenbüll aufgenommen. Bisher ließ das Unternehmen jährlich ca. 2.000 t Kunstharze außerhalb von Schleswig-Holstein lohnfertigen. Zur Steigerung der eigenen Fertigungstiefe ist nunmehr die Errichtung einer Kunstharz-Produktionsanlage am Standort Heide/Hemmingstedt geplant. Darüber hinaus sollen am neuen Standort auch die bisherigen Verwaltungs-, Forschungs-, Entwicklungstätigkeiten konsolidiert werden. (German)

SRS Meeder GmbH started operations in Poppenbüll in 2000. So far, the company had about 2,000 tonnes of resins produced outside Schleswig-Holstein each year. The construction of an artificial resin production plant at the Heide/Hemmingstedt site is now planned to increase its own production depth. In addition, the new site will also consolidate the existing administrative, research and development activities. (English)
