The existing hotel building, which has been broken since more than ten years, is replaced by an innovative wooden building that adapts gently to the surrounding area and blends into the landscape. A showcase object is created that meets the Black Forest and highlights the native white fir as a base material. The building is realised in wood construction in such a way that it serves as a lighthouse project with special radiance for similar building projects. The project aims to demonstrate that innovative timber construction can serve as a suitable ecological and economic alternative. In addition to wood construction, great emphasis is placed on construction techniques and materials that meet the best energy efficiency standards. This applies to insulation as well as heating technology and electricity consumption. Das vorhandene Hotelgebäude, das seit über zehn Jaren brach liegt, wird durch ein innovatives Holzgebäude ersetzt, welches sich sanft der Umgebung anpasst und in die Landschaft einfügt. Es wird ein Vorzeigeobjekt erstellt, welches dem Schwarzwald gerecht wird und die heimische Weißtanne als Grundwerkstoff hervorhebt. Das Gebäude wird in Holzbauweise so verwirklicht, dass diese für ähnlich gelagerte Bauvorhaben als Leuchtturmprojekt mit besonderer Strahlkraft dient. Das Projekt soll demonstrieren, dass die innovative Holzbauweise als passende ökologische und wirtschaftliche Alternative dienen kann. Neben der Holzbauweise wird auch großen Wert auf Bautechniken und -stoffe gelegt, die die besten Energieeffizienzstandards erfüllen Dies betrifft die Dämmung genauso wie die Heiztechnik und den Stromverbrauch. Zur Senkung des Jahresprimärenergiebedarfs werden weitestgehend erneuerbare Energien wie z.B. eine Pelletheizung eingesetzt. (German)
