Ena od ključnih prioritet Slovenije je uspešen razvoj javne uprave, saj predstavlja temelj za razvoj države in družbene blaginje. Državljani in gospodarstveniki namreč potrebujejo fleksibilno in odzivno javno upravo, ki bo delovala transparentno, strokovno, odgovorno ter skladno z načeli dobrega upravljanja. Cilj je javna uprava, ki bo ustvarjala učinkovito zakonodajno in vzpodbudno poslovno okolje in, ki bo delovala profesionalno, strokovno, stabilno, učinkovito, transparentno in skladno z načeli dobrega upravljanja. V okviru operacije Uprava 2020 se predvideva implementacijo ključnih orodij boljše zakonodaje v proces priprave predpisov, poenotenje državne spletne vsebine v okviru razvoja enotne državne spletne točke gov.si, nadgradnjo portala eUprava, izvedbo prenove informacijskega sistema za podporo upravnemu poslovanju. The aim is a public administration that will create an effective regulatory and stimulating business environment and that operates professionally, professionally, stable, efficient, transparent and in accordance with the principles of good governance. Operation Administration 2020 foresees the implementation of key better lawmaking tools in the regulatory process, the unification of national online content as part of the development of the single national website gov.si, the upgrading of the eUprava portal, the implementation of the reform of the IT system to support administrative operations.
