The Regional Academy project will be implemented by the non-governmental non-profit organisation AINova, which has been engaged in lifelong learning since 1997. The project aims to “develop the personal and professional competences of current and future workers in local and regional development in less developed regions and districts of Slovakia”. The objective set is based on investment priority 1.4. OP HR and defined specific objective 1.4.1. We want to achieve the aim of the project by focusing on: development and implementation of educational programmes to develop adult key competences called regional academy in line with labour market requirements (upgrading, acquisition, replenishment), including ICT, and to support partnerships with employers and professional organisations, employers’ associations, associations and chambers in the creation, innovation and implementation of education. The selected target group is staff from municipalities, but also regional development agencies, information/advisory centres, local action groups, associations (ZOMOT), community centres etc. focused on local and regional development. Our goal is also to reach young people up to 25 years after school, who want to apply to regional development. We will achieve the goal of the project with 3 outputs: (I) a training programme called the Regional Academy, complemented by an online platform, will be established; (II) within the project, the 3x programme will be implemented for 60 participants and finally (iii) the quality of the training programme will be evaluated, which will be presented at the final nationwide conference.Measurable indicators of the project are: a) the number of partnerships established with employers – the starting number is 3 and the expected final number is 8; B) the planned number of trained participants in the educational programme – 60 (20 from Western Slovakia, 20 from Central Slovakia and 20 from Eastern Slovakia) and the number of participants/staff and partners at the final conference (the planned number is 50) on the evaluation of the regional academy’s educational programme. The project is planned for 30 months/2.5 years and training activities will take place in AIN’s premises in Svätý Jur. (English)

Projekt má za cieľ „prehĺbenie osobnostných a odborných kompetencií súčasných a budúcich pracovníkov v miestnom a regionálnom rozvoji v menej rozvinutých regiónoch a okresoch Slovenska“. Stanovený cieľ vychádza z investičnej priority 1.4. OP ĽZ  a definovaného špecifického cieľa 1.4.1.
