The plan for the creation of the Nitra Creative Centre in Martinské vrch with a connection to the city center and the Palace Cinema is a fulfillment of the intention to implement integrated territorial projects and thus exploit the synergistic effect of using funds from other priority axes in the development of this area. This would create a new city district with a specific focus on the cultural and creative sectors, with a view to preserving historical values, innovative forms of presentation of the complex and the space for developing creative talent. In the area of the former Kasární pod Zobor in Martinské vrch, the area of education (building of the mother’s kindergarten Dobšinský via IROP PO2) is connected with cultural heritage and history (archeopark built by the Archaeological Institute of SAS), greenery and relaxation. The Nitra Creative Centre should focus mainly on performing arts, visual arts, music, audio and multimedia, as well as crafts – taking into account Europe’s cultural heritage. The intention to build a Creative Centre Nitra is part of the Regional Integrated Territorial Strategy of Nitra Self-Governing Region (RIÚS/). In accordance with the legislation in force, the Nitra Self-Governing Region is responsible for the preparation of the RIÚS NSK. Based on the Memorandum of Cooperation of the NSK and the City of Nitra of 29 September 2014, the Sustainable Urban Development Strategy of the county city of Nitra/UMR/with the aim of coordinating and aligning development visions with each other became part of it. The coordination mechanism in the field of support for cultural and creative industries is ensured by the participation of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic as an intermediary body for IROP in the Partnership Council for the RISU of the Nitra Region. Plán vytvorenia Kreatívneho centra Nitra na Martinskom vrchu s prepojením na centrum mesta a kino Palace je naplnením zámeru realizovať integrované územné projekty a využiť tak synergický efekt využitia prostriedkov z ostatných prioritných osí pri rozvoji tohto územia. Vznikla by tak nová mestská štvrť so špecifickým zameraním na oblasť kultúry a kreatívnych odvetví so zreteľom na zachovanie historických hodnôt, inovatívne formy prezentácie tohto areálu a priestor pre rozvoj kreatívneho talentu. V areáli bývalých Kasární pod Zoborom na Martinskom vrchu sa prepája oblasť vzdelávania (vybudovanie Materskej škôlky Dobšinského cez IROP PO2) s kultúrnym dedičstvom a históriou (archeopark vybudovaný Archeologickým ústavom SAV), zeleňou a relaxom. Nitrianske kreatívne centrum by malo byť zamerané hlavne na scénické umenie, vizuálne umenie, hudbu, audiovíziu a multimédiá ako aj remeslá – so zreteľom na európske kultúrne dedičstvo. Zámer vybudovať Kreatívne centrum Nitra je súčasťou Regionálnej integrovanej územnej stratégie Nitrianskeho samosprávneho kraja /RIÚS/. Gestorom prípravy RIÚS NSK je v zmysle platnej legislatívy Nitriansky samosprávny kraj. Na základe Memoranda o spolupráci NSK a Mesta Nitry z 29.septembra 2014 sa jej súčasťou stala aj stratégia udržateľného mestského rozvoja krajského mesta Nitry/UMR/ s cieľom vzájomnej koordinácie a zosúladenia rozvojových vízií. Mechanizmus koordinácie v oblasti podpory kultúrneho a kreatívneho priemyslu je zabezpečený účasťou Ministerstva kultúry SR ako sprostredkovateľského orgánu pre IROP v Rade partnerstva pre RIÚS Nitrianskeho kraja.
