Obiectivul general al proiectului „Reabilitare, modernizare si extindere Centrul de zi Gaesti” il reprezinta cresterea capacitatii de acces la serviciilor sociale ca urmare a reabilitarii, modernizarii si extinderii Centrului de zi existent, in vederea asigurarii unei vieti mai sanatoase, mai productiva, participativa si independenta. Tipurile de situatii vizate de centrul de zi sunt: varsta, izolarea sociala, lipsa de acces la drepturile sociale, fiind asigurate servicii de asistenta sociala pentru persoane varstnice cu posibilitati materiale reduse. Acest obiectiv se incadreaza in obiectivul specific al apelului, respectiv „Cresterea gradului de acoperire cu servicii sociale” precum si in obiectivele Strategiei Nationale pentru Promovarea Imbatranirii Active si Protectia Persoanelor Varstnice 2014 – 2020, respectiv: • Imbatranirea sanatoasa; • Promovarea unui stil de viata sanatos; • Cresterea ratei de ocupare a fortei de munca in randul populatiei varstnice, mai ales in zonele urbane; • Dezvoltarea sistemului de ingrijire de lunga durata in directia integrarii in comunitate a persoanelor care au nevoie de ingrijire si a crearii unui mediu propice care sa le permita mentinerea in propria locuinta pe termen lung; • Diminuarea disparitatilor regionale, astfel incat sa se imbunatateasca situatia persoanelor varstnice care necesita sprijin atat in localitatile rurale cat si in localitatile urbane mici; • Imbunatatirea serviciilor de ingrijire de lunga durata. Obiectivul general va putea fi realizat prin indeplinirea obiectivelor specifice, stabilite ca urmare a implementarii acestui proiect. (Romanian)

The general objective of the project “Rehabilitation, Modernisation and Expansion of the Gaesti Day Center” is to increase the capacity of access to social services as a result of the rehabilitation, modernisation and expansion of the existing Day Center, in order to ensure a healthier, more productive, participatory and independent life. The types of situations covered by the day centre are: age, social isolation, lack of access to social rights, providing social assistance services for elderly people with reduced material possibilities. This objective falls within the specific objective of the call, namely “Enhancing coverage with social services” as well as in the objectives of the National Strategy for the Promotion of Active Ageing and the Protection of Elderly Persons 2014-2020, namely: • Healthy aging; • Promoting a healthy lifestyle; • Increasing the employment rate among the elderly population, especially in urban areas; • Developing the long-term care system in the direction of integrating people in need of care into the community and creating an enabling environment that allows them to stay in their own home in the long term; • Reducing regional disparities so as to improve the situation of elderly people who require support both in rural and small urban areas; • Improving long-term care services. The general objective can be achieved by achieving the specific objectives set as a result of the implementation of this project. (English)
