The main objective of HECTOR is to achieve a systematic solution for the coordination/co-operation of smart heterogeneous robots/vehicles (sea, land and air) that are able to cooperate autonomously and to coordinate with each other in an open unstructured area/zone. HECTOR was conceived as a modular and autonomous system, adapted to different missions in wine-growing and marineas with the envisaged possibility to intervene by man in the course of the various operational, inspection and emergency tasks.
