Projektets övergripande mål är att små och medelstora företag i Norrbotten och Västerbotten ska ha realiserat internationellt säljbara innovativa produkter inom området optisk mätteknik som en del av sitt arbete med digitalisering. Projektmålet är att fler små och medelstora företag i regionen ska ha börjat utveckla innovativa produkter och tjänster baserat på optisk mätteknik till nytta för både mans- och kvinnodominerade branscher samt ökat sin kompetens inom området. Projektmålet är också indelat i sex olika delmål. Projektets målsättningar och aktiviteter har en tydlig logik. Projektets primära målgrupp är små och medelstora företag inom en bred flora av branscher som till exempel skog, sågverk, verkstad, energi och miljö, trä, industriellt byggande, elektronik/IT, hälso- och sjukvård samt säkerhet. Projektet har också en sekundär målgrupp och det är de större verksamheter (offentlig hälso- och sjukvård) som i vissa fall kommer att bli beställare av de produkter och tjänster som de små och medelstora företagen utvecklar. The overall goal of the project is that small and medium-sized companies in Norrbotten and Västerbotten will have realised internationally marketable innovative products in the field of optical measurement technology as part of their work on digitalisation. The goal of the project is that more small and medium-sized companies in the region will have started to develop innovative products and services based on optical measurement technology for the benefit of both male and female dominated industries and increased their expertise in the field. The project goal is also divided into six different sub-goals. The objectives and activities of the project have a clear logic. The project’s primary target group is small and medium-sized companies in a wide variety of industries such as forests, sawmills, workshop, energy and the environment, wood, industrial construction, electronics/IT, health care and safety. The project also has a secondary target group and it is the larger operations (public health care) that in some cases will become the clients of the products and services that the small and medium-sized enterprises develop.
