The project “Think Like Einstein” will be implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Pasłęk, whose unit is Janusz Korczak Primary School in Rogany. The aim of the project is to raise key competences among 43 students (19 girls and 24 boys) in mathematics, natural sciences, ICT, language, and the right attitudes and skills needed in the labour market (initiative, creativity, teamwork). The project also includes improving the skills and competences of 10 teachers in terms of team building, improving ICT skills and working skills using active methods, as well as parents and legal guardians of pupils, which will make the project more sustainable. This goal will be achieved, among others, through the implementation of extracurricular activities educating mathematical skills (e.g. Mathematics workshops on a daily basis), language (e.g. theatre performance in English), ICT (e.g. workshops with computer graphics) and in extra-school activities in creativity (e.g. workshops Smart mind) or innovation (e.g. Bussines star workshops). We will organise a training for teachers, during which they will improve their skills in the field of modern working methods, including the use of ICT and learn about methods that shape the right attitudes in pupils (creativity, innovation, teamwork). The project activities will also be addressed to parents for whom we will organise “Academy for Parents”. The project will be implemented in the period from.01.09.2018 to 30.09.2019. We want to convince the participants of the project that anyone, like Einstein, can become a genius and can succeed, no matter where they live. We hope that this awareness will contribute to an increase in the educational aspirations of all participants in the project. (English) | |||||||||||||||

(Polish)
