Przedmiotem projektu jest kompleksowa rewitalizacja i restauracja tzw. kwartału królewskiego, w tym zabytkowego obiektu przy Rynek 4 (budynek dawnego Starostwa) wraz z zabezpieczeniem reliktów dawnej zabudowy, rewitalizacją dziedzińca,utworzeniem nowego kompleksu muzealnego w podziemiach Ratusza oraz piwnicach restaurowanego budynku dawnego Starostwa - 3 zabytki nieruchome objęte wsparciem. Działaniom rewitalizacyjnym podlegają: -mury obronne z basztą, -uliczka przymurna, -budynek Dawnego Starostwa, -dziedziniec, -podziemia-piwnice pod dziedzińcem, -zadaszenie chroniące i eksponujące zabytkowe relikty architektoniczne piwnic, -podziemia olkuskiego Ratusza -utworzenie kompleksu muzealnego:ekspozycja muzealna w podziemiach olkuskiego ratusza, ekspozycja muzealna w podziemiach Dawnego Starostwa.Do zakresu prac niezbędnych do realizacji projektu zgodnie z założonymi celami oraz zgodnie z Podręcznikiem kwalifikowania wydatków należą: I-Opracowanie analizy ekonomiczno-finansowej II-Program prac konserwatorskich III-Prace związane z restauracją budynku dawnego starostwa wraz z otoczeniem-Powierzchnia ogólna prac to 1 952,27 m2-budynek Dawnego Starostwa+piwnice pod dziedzińcem+zadaszenie reliktów zwane umownie w opracowaniu projektowym pawilonem. -Roboty rozbiórkowe,ziemne i porządkowe realizowane pod nadzorem archeolog. (wyburzenia,rozbiórki,demontaż istniejących elementów) -Roboty konstrukcyjne-stropy,schody,podesty,belki (uzupełnienia powstałe po wyburzeniach fragmentów stropów istniejących,wyburzenie istniejącego biegu klatki schodowej,wykonanie dwóch nowych klatek schodowych (w miejscu istniejącej oraz w miejscu pomieszczenia dawnej kasy) oraz szyb dźwigu - 1 obiekt dostosowany dla os.niepełnosprawnych) -Mury i ściany-odgrzybienia,izolacje przeciwwilgociowe i termiczne,oczyszczenia ścian z uszkodzonych tynków oraz przebicia,wyburzenia i domurowania,ścianki i sufity podwieszane,stolarka otworowa,w przypadku ścian zew. i częściowo wew.–projektuje się docieplenie -Dachy-w (Polish)
