Przedmiotem zadania pn.: „Zagospodarowanie brzegów zalewu w Miedznej Murowanej atrakcją turystyczną Gminy Żarnów” jest zagospodarowanie zachodniej części brzegu zbiornika w Miedznej Murowanej poprzez stworzenie bazy turystycznej dla mieszkańców Gminy jak również turystów odwiedzających okolice. Planowany do realizacji projekt obejmuje wykonanie plaży o powierzchni 3,3 ha z boiskiem do siatkówki plażowej i parasolami trzcinowymi, wykonanie pomostu, molo i mostka drewnianego, wybudowanie budynku do obsługi bazy turystycznej z wypożyczalnią sprzętu wodnego, magazynu sprzętu wodnego, wykonanie ciągów pieszo – rowerowych, utwardzenie parkingów, dróg wewnętrznych i dróg dojazdowych, utworzenie 2 pól namiotowych wraz zadaszeniem i krzesełkami i ławkami, stanowisk wędkarskich oraz urządzenie placu zbaw i siłowni zewnętrznej, zakup i montaż obiektów małej architektury: ławki, kosze, stojaki na rowery, stół z ławkami, zakup sprzętu wodnego: łódek wędkarskich, kajaków, rowerków wodnych, kapoków, zakup toalet. Głównym celem inwestycji jest rozwój turystyki oraz zwiększenie atrakcyjności poprzez poszerzenie oferty turystycznej Gminy Żarnów.
