To the east and south, the building is adjacent to a single-family housing. From the northern side of the Pałucki Centrum Health Sp. z o.o. (poviat hospital), and from the western side with Dąbrowskiego Street, where the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service is located. The building consists of two self-contained premises. 1 includes premises I, II, III, IV and V-storey and is owned by Infusio Sp. z o.o. In contrast, the usable unit no. 2 covers premises I and II floors and is owned by the Żniń County. It is used by: Powiatowe Centrum Pomocy Rodzinie, Environmental Home of Self-Help, Workshops of Occupational Therapy “Promyk” and the archive of the District Starostwo w Żnin. The project covered by the proposal concerns the thermomodernisation of the part of the building comprising the utility unit No. 2, owned by the Żnin County and the parts common to both owners of premises Nos 1 and 2, i.e. the roof. The project concerns a project in the field of deep and comprehensive energy modernisation of public buildings, in the area of warming foundations and foundation walls, insulation of walls I and II floors of the building with the replacement of windows and external doors, partial roof covering replacement and hydraulic regulation of the central heating system. From the information obtained from the co-owner of the building and owner of the premises no. 1, i.e. Infusio Sp. z o.o., the utility unit no. W. Roentgena 3 in the care and treatment facility (Dom Sue Ryder). This task received EU funding to adapt and modernise this part of the building under Sub-measure 6.1.1 of the Regional Operational Programme of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship for the years 2014-2020. Budynek planowany do termomodernizacji zlokalizowany jest w miejscowości Żnin, pomiędzy ulicami Szpitalną i Dąbrowskiego, na działce nr 2855. Od strony wschodniej i południowej, obiekt sąsiaduje z zabudową mieszkaniową jednorodzinną. Ze strony północnej z Pałuckim Centrum Zdrowia Sp. z o.o. (szpital powiatowy), natomiast ze strony zachodniej z ulicą Dąbrowskiego, przy której znajduje się Komenda Powiatowa Państwowej Straży Pożarnej. Budynek składa się z dwóch samodzielnych lokali użytkowych. Lokal użytkowy nr 1 obejmuje pomieszczenia I, II, III, IV i V kondygnacji i jest własnością firmy Infusio Sp. z o.o. Natomiast lokal użytkowy nr 2 obejmuje pomieszczenia I i II kondygnacji i jest własnością Powiatu Żnińskiego. Użytkowany jest on przez: Powiatowe Centrum Pomocy Rodzinie, Środowiskowy Dom Samopomocy, Warsztaty Terapii Zajęciowej "Promyk" oraz archiwum Starostwa Powiatowego w Żninie. Projekt objęty wnioskiem dotyczy termomodernizacji części budynku obejmującego lokal użytkowy nr 2 , którego właścicielem jest Powiat Żniński oraz części wspólnych dla obu właścicieli lokali nr 1 i 2 , tj. dachu. Projekt dotyczy przedsięwzięcia z zakresu głębokiej i kompleksowej modernizacji energetycznej budynków publicznych, w zakresie ocieplenia fundamentów i ścian fundamentowych, ocieplenia ścian I i II kondygnacji budynku wraz z wymianą okien i drzwi zewnętrznych, częściowej wymianie pokrycia dachu oraz regulacją hydrauliczną instalacji c.o. .Z informacji uzyskanych od współwłaściciela budynku i właściciela lokalu nr 1, tj. firmy Infusio Sp. z o.o., lokal użytkowy nr 1 jest w trakcie przekształcania przez inwestora jakim jest firma PALLMED Sp. z o. o., Bydgoszcz, ul. W. Roentgena 3 w zakład opiekuńczo - leczniczy (Dom Sue Ryder). Zadanie to otrzymało dofinansowanie ze środków UE na dostosowanie i modernizację tej części budynku w ramach Poddziałania 6.1.1 Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Kujawsko-Pomorskiego na lata 2014-2020.
