The subject of the investment is to carry out a comprehensive restoration and the necessary expansion of the historic building at Gdańska Street 4 in Bydgoszcz – the seat of the Leon Wyczółkowski Regional Museum, together with purchases of equipment for conducting cultural activities in the field of presenting contemporary art and painting. The construction investment will be carried out within two parts – stages: the first stage includes the renovation and conversion of the use of the unused attic to the utility attic with the exhibition function of the existing historic building, the second stage includes the extension and reconstruction of the existing building together with technical infrastructure (translation of electrical cable lines, water connection, rainwater connection, reconstruction of the heating network). Thanks to the restoration and extension of the building, it will be possible to introduce a rich cultural and educational programme of importance and trans-regional impact, broaden the cultural offer, increase the standard of services provided while increasing accessibility to the museum. The current building will also become one of the business cards of Gdańska Street – the main and representative street of the city. Renovation and extension are necessary due to the very poor technical condition of the building, the progressive degradation (the object has been closed to visitors since April 2009) and lack of space for conducting cultural activities, including the proper exhibition of contemporary art collections. The conditions for the functioning of the harvest maintenance workshop will also be improved, e.g. by creating appropriate space and professional equipment. (English)

Inwestycja budowlana będzie realizowana w ramach dwóch części - etapów: pierwszy etap obejmuje remont i przebudowę wraz ze zmianą sposobu użytkowania strychu nieużytkowego na strych użytkowy o funkcji wystawienniczej istniejącego budynku zabytkowego, drugi etap obejmuje rozbudowę i przebudowę istniejącego budynku wraz z infrastrukturą techniczną (przełożeniem elektrycznych linii kablowych, przyłączem wody, przyłączem kanalizacji deszczowej, przebudową sieci ciepłowniczej). (Polish)
