Thanks to the implemented technology, the Applicant will be able to launch (on a larger scale and more efficient) the production of innovative and technologically advanced AAA games – productions created with the involvement of large financial outlays, focused on the high quality of the final product and using advanced technologies. The main technological problem currently present in the industry is the dynamic increase in the amount of gigabytes of data in which the game is included (currently AAA games cover about 80 GB of data) which poses an increasingly real problem of efficient processing of such large amounts of data (so-called “so-called”. Building ” games), control the processes of daily compilation and preparation of subsequent editions of the game, taking into account the growing demands of end users (players). The objective of the project will be achieved by carrying out industrial research and development work on the development of innovative, specialised algorithms and software tools. Due to the fact that box versions of software are not available on the market that can solve game-building issues and because of the proprietary technology on which the Company creates games, tool software and algorithms must also be developed within precisely defined and planned stages of R & D. Implementation of technology will concern the Applicant’s activities to create process innovation supporting the development of technologically advanced and significantly improved video games. Numer_referencyjny_programu_pomocowego: SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. UE L 187/1 z 26.06.2014). Celem projektu jest opracowanie i wdrożenie nowej technologii do tworzenia wirtualnych światów na potrzeby gier komputerowych. Dzięki wdrożonej technologii Wnioskodawca będzie w stanie uruchomić (na większą skalę i bardziej efektywnie) produkcję nowatorskich i zaawansowanych technologicznie gier typu AAA - produkcji powstających przy zaangażowaniu dużych nakładów finansowych, nastawionych na wysoką jakość finalnego produktu i korzystających z zaawansowanych technologii. Głównym problemem technologicznym obecnie występującym w branży, jest dynamiczny przyrost ilości gigabajtów danych, w których zawiera się gra (aktualnie gry kategorii AAA zajmują około 80GB danych) co stwarza coraz bardziej realny problem sprawnego przetwarzania tak dużych ilości danych (tzw. “budowanie” gry), sterowanie procesami codziennego kompilowania i przygotowania kolejnych wydań gry, biorąc pod uwagę coraz większe wymagania użytkowników końcowych (graczy). Cel projektu zostanie osiągnięty poprzez przeprowadzenie badań przemysłowych i prac rozwojowych nad wypracowaniem nowatorskich, specjalistycznych algorytmów oraz narzędzi softwarowych. Ze względu na fakt, iż na rynku nie są dostępne pudełkowe wersje oprogramowania mogącego rozwiązywać kwestie budowania gier oraz ze względu na autorską technologię, na której Firma tworzy gry, oprogramowanie narzędziowe i algorytmy muszą również zostać wypracowane w ramach ściśle określonych i zaplanowanych etapów prac B+R. Wdrożenie technologii będzie dotyczyło działalności Wnioskodawcy na potrzeby tworzenia innowacji procesowej wspierającej powstawanie zaawansowanych technologicznie i znacznie ulepszonych gier video.
