The aim and main result of the planned project is to profile and diversify the Company’s services through the introduction of improved, innovative services on the scale of Poland and the region in the field of the process of frost resistance and watertightness of concrete according to the applicable standards. Standard concrete testing is planned for individual needs. Due to the climate of Poland, a particular threat to concrete structures is the destructive effect of frost. During reduced temperatures, cyclic freezing and defrosting of water, caused by the frequent passing of temperature through 0 °C in the daily cycle, leads to the destruction of improperly designed and manufactured concrete. As a result of the investment in the research facilities, it will be possible to comprehensively determine the parameters of the concrete mix on the construction site, as well as individual raw materials for the production of concrete, as well as a number of properties such as compressive strength, absorption, water resistance, frost resistance, which determines the admission of concrete to the construction. Celem i głównym rezultatem planowanego projektu jest przeprofilowanie oraz dywersyfikacja usługowa Firmy poprzez wprowadzenie na rynek ulepszonych, innowacyjnych na skalę Polski i regionu usług w zakresie procesu badań mrozoodporności oraz wodoszczelności betonu wg obowiązujących norm. Planowane są badanie betonu normowe jaki na indywidualne potrzeby. Z uwagi na klimat Polski, szczególnym zagrożeniem dla konstrukcji betonowych jest niszczące działanie mrozu. W okresach obniżonych temperatur cykliczne zamrażanie i odmrażanie wody, wywołane częstym przejściem temperatury przez 0°C w cyklu dobowym, prowadzi do zniszczenia niewłaściwie zaprojektowanego i wykonanego betonu. Skutkiem inwestycji w zaplecze badawcze możliwe będzie kompleksowe określenie parametrów mieszanki betonowej na budowie, jak i poszczególnych surowców do produkcji betonu, a także szereg właściwości jak wytrzymałość na ściskanie, nasiąkliwość, wodoszczelność, mrozoodporność co warunkuje dopuszczenie betonu do budowy.
