The objective of the project is to support representatives of the self-governmental authorities with regard to problems and challenges, by identifying and disseminating basic issues related to the planning and enhanced energy efficiency n cities, as well as practical solutions related to the energy saving and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and the generation and effective use of renewable energy. Study visits, trainings and conferences will be used to present examples of good practices and innovative technical, technological, urban, architectural, and organizational solutions. It is planned, inter alia, to discuss matters related to the energy-efficient construction adapted to climate change, modern solutions related to the lighting of public areas, and potential organizational and institutional activities in order to enhance the energy efficiency of cities. All activities under the project are logically linked with each other - study visits, trainings and a guide in good practices are aimed at introducing the energy efficiency in the urban context, inter alia by preparing the call for applications for elaborating technical documentation of future investments under the project, possible to be financed from external sources. Products under the project activities (inter alia organized meetings and trainings, a competition, prepared technical documentation of the project of the energy revitalization of the building, a guide in good practices) will contribute to promoting the results of the project. Project products and results are strictly related to the performance of individual specific objectives, while contributing to the implementation of the main objective of the project. (English)
