Works scheduled under the project involve the reconstruction of the voivodeship road (DW) no. 977 of 12.385 km, including: a 1.25 km-long section in Gorlice, restoration of road surfaces consisting in the replacement of bitumen coating, widening the roadway of the provincial road in the area of crossing with national road (DK) no. 28 to create an additional turning lane, the reconstruction of network of utility lines being an obstacle for widening the roadway, construction of 440 metres of pavement, installing the elements of lightning and traffic calming. The 11.135 km section from Gładyszów to the border crossing point, restoration of the existing road surface by the recycling of the upper coating of the surface and making new bituminous layers, adapting the elevation of the existing cross-section elements to the parameters of roadways and roadsides, roadside restoration and paving, cleaning the ditches with bottom and slope profiling and their protection. It is also planned to improve the parameters of the road, level and reinforce its surface construction in accordance with the traffic category 3 – KR3, variable message signs (completion of the existing system). On the Slovak side, it is planned to upgrade three sections of the road no. II/545 Raslavice – Janovce of 5.023 km, Bardejov – Kľušov – 1.933 km and Regetovka – Becherov – 1.65 km. As part of modernisation works, two bridges will also be restored (545-020, 545-047), road parameters will be adjusted and the surface construction will be reinforced. To improve the safety of transport and pedestrians, elements of horizontal and vertical road markings will be provided. (English)
