Jardival aims to protect and promote the gardens that represent a real added-value to encourage sustainable, diversified and not-seasonal tourism on all the French - Italian Coast. Jardival promotes an important cross-border heritage that is a substantial environmental, cultural and historical asset in the cross-border area. The project foresees some restorations to welcome visitors, both residents and tourists, in the best conditions. At the same time, promotion actions are planned to make selected areas adapt to tourism and to attract external visitors, in particular with the organization of an opening event in spring 2017, the Gardens Festival of French Riviera.
