    The main problem the project is addressing in the discovery of authentic culture and traditions in the small settlements and villages in the cross-border area of Vidin and Montana districts and Dolj county, their popularization and valorisation into a tourist product, raising public awareness for authentic cultural identity and popularization of the cross-border region as a culture destination. The main project objective is to discover and promote the authentic culture in the cross-border area of Vidin and Montana districts and Dolj county and to create a new tourism product by using the cultural heritage of the target region. The total budget of the operation is 421,713 euro. The main activities of the project are: Field Study for discovering the local culture of people in the villages from Vidin, Montana and Dolj districts; Development of web site of authentic cross-border culture of real people; Promotion of voting campaign; Organization of 3 authentic culture festivals; 3 trainings for valorisation of culture into tourism products; Promotion of the created tourism products; Info-tour for journalists and tour operators; Presentation at 4 tourism fairs. Expected project results corresponding to program output and results indicators: Studied and described authentic traditions, crafts and culture in small settlements in the target region, Filmed and promoted 210 authenticcultural events/crafts/skills/ Organized 3 festivals for authentic culture, Valorisation of culture into cross-border tourist product.
