Every year since the parish was in existence, the local priesthood and the representative body strive to commemorate the Virgin of Help in a worthy way. In today’s world, we feel it is more important than anything that we can confess to our membership of the Church. We believe that the younger generations want to go to church not only out of duty, but also out of heartfelt belief. This event has a huge community forging force, since not only a few people are needed in the preparations and the organisation of the holiday, but also the cooperation of all the members of the parish. This event brings together the families, the Catholic community of the city, the members of the settlements in the surrounding area and the members of the sister communities outside our borders, as the members of the community invite their loved ones who live far away for this occasion. A Plébánia fennállása óta minden évben igyekszik a helyi papság és a képviselő testület méltó módon megemlékezni a Segítő Szűzanyáról. Mai világunkban mindennél fontosabbnak érezzük, hogy az egyházhoz való tartozásunkat meg tudjuk vallani. Hiszünk abban, hogy a fiatalabb generációk már nem csak kötelességből szeretnének a templomba járni, hanem szívbéli meggyőződésből is. Hatalmas közösségkovácsoló erővel bír ezen esemény, hiszen az előkészületekben és az ünnep lebonyolításában nem csak pár emberre van szükség, hanem az egyházközség minden tagjának együttműködésére. A családokat, a város katolikus közösségét, a környékbeli települések, illetve (mivel határváros vagyunk) a határainkon túli testvérközösségek tagjait összehozza ez a rendezvény, hiszen erre az alkalomra távol élő szeretteiket is meghívják a közösség tagjai.
